The Islamic Institute of Current Affairs (IICA) is a Think Tank rooted in classical Islamic tradition, tackling intellectual poverty through critical discourse and analysis. Focused on the British Muslim diaspora, we provide insightful perspectives on global issues—from Western foreign policy to poverty in the Global South. Through events, expert talks, and educational programmes, we aim to inspire and empower a new generation of engaged, informed Muslims.

If you are passionate about a particular topic, we want to hear your ideas. AICA is a platform to allow students to express their views and perspectives in an 800 - 1000-word article on an area that encompasses one of our Policy Areas: Foreign Policy, Economy and Finance, Domestic Policy, Comparative Politics, History, and Legal Systems and Judiciary.
We aim to publish articles weekly, ensuring that they are in line with our values of meticulous, well-informed research and the maintenance of academic integrity.
Your entry should aim to be innovative and offer a diversity of views and perspectives. You should compose your article in the following way:
